Over the last 3 billion years, we existed harmoniously with natural light…

All creatures developed finely-tuned light-sensing instruments...

that optimise their lives in line with the natural 24 hour cycle of the world. Not only does its effect amplify the beauty throughout the spaces we inhabit, but it has a major effect on our biology, emotions, daily routines and more recently understood, our health and well-being.

The Great Indoors

And in just 150 years, we have turned this on our heads, now spending 87% of our time indoors, under artificial light sources.

Creating a community of lighting enthusiasts...

The Light Tribe exists to create a community of lighting enthusiasts that can help change the way we design optimal spaces for humans, reconnecting us to the Genesis of light that we have been used to for so long.

The Power of Light Video
