CIRCULAR REGEN
REGENERATION FOR GENERATIONS
At Phos, we know a thing or two about making things last. Over 140 years of British manufacturing span five generations and the same family that started it back in 1883, still runs the company today. From the companies first day’s manufacturing parts for the British car industry, refurbishing and repairing has been our ethos. We have carried this through to the modern day, ensuring we are part of a circular economy that repairs, and reuses products rather than simply replacing them.
For Phos, it’s business as usual – ReGeneration for generations…

THE PROCESS
For the past 12 years, we have employed the principles of a circular economy in our manufacturing processes. We have always given an unlimited duty of care on all the components we manufacture.
|
STEP 1
If a product has failed or has become EOL, we can arrange collection of the interchangeable light engines and associated drivers. Once recieved, we will review the engine to see if it can be ReGenerated or recycled.
|
|
|
STEP 2
Regenerate - If we can ReGenerate the light engine, we will only need to replace the faulty part of the fitting, which can then be restored to life, utilising all of our orginal optics and bezels.
|
STEP 3
Recycled - If the unit is beyond the point of repair, we will ensure the raw material is always fully recycled. We encourage all fixtures to be returned to us so we can ReGen or recycle.
